We often hear people say that, “prayer changes things!”
To say that, would mean that you could do anything, live any kind of way and just “pray” and things in your life would have to change. I beg to differ. If God is the same yesterday, today and forever; that would say to me that He’s not going to change.
So, if He’s not going to change, then that to me would mean that we have to change. We can’t just say that “prayer changes things!” There has to be some corresponding action on our part.
Faith without works is dead.
Prayer alone does not change things. God has already done whatever your IT is. He said that it is finished. What we as believers have to do is align ourselves with what God’s Word says concerning our lives. Learn to enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
